About Us: Our Life in the New Forest
Owners Tina and Nic (along with Tina’s brother who lives here) welcome you to their much-loved home and Bed and Breakfast to offer you a slice of Forest life for yourselves.
We are a cheerful and busy household with two Welsh collies, riding horses and ponies.
With links to the village going back three generations and having returned following a stint in London, Tina has extensive knowledge of the area. She contributes in a small way to the Forest’s cultural heritage, making use of her commoning rights to keep a few ponies grazing on the open Forest.
More of a townie and with a continental background, Nic offers in-depth knowledge of his beloved Lambretta scooters and where to ride them in the Forest - and the ability to speak several languages for those travelling from abroad. After 30 years visiting the area and living here, he can more or less find his way around without getting lost.

Should you wish to visit the area car-free we may be able to collect you from the station when you arrive - just let us know in advance.
